因為大部分的機車安全帽鏡片「非柱面」，柱面就是垂直方向沒有弧度，是直的。而大部分鏡片是橫向與垂直向都有弧度。我們有做過許多問卷調查，也親自試用了裁切成各種不同形狀的超疏水膜。為了滿足「sufficient field of view, easy application without lifting edges, and fitting most visors', we ultimately decided on the current shape.

Although it may look somewhat narrow, human eyes are small; when the visor is close to your eyes, the field of view covered is similar to wearing glasses, covering the vast majority of sightlines. Therefore, it is more than sufficient!

If you desire 100% edge-to-edge coverage without gaps and your helmet visor is cylindrical, you can choose the A5 Sheet to cut to fit!

單向弧度的柱面鏡一定可以貼，常見雙向弧度的盾形鏡片也都能貼。我們試過，市面上九成的鏡片都能貼唷！基本上只要安全帽鏡片的弧度不要太大，貼起來都沒問題。不確定自己的安全帽屬於哪種鏡片的，可以參考下圖。Note: Visors with existing surface coatings or electroplating are not suitable for high-tack motorcycle models, as removal may damage the coating!

有可能您在撕1號貼紙時把CA160一起撕掉了！請檢查您撕掉的1號貼紙離型膜，如果比2號貼紙貼著的保護膜加CA160還要厚，就代表您多撕一層囉！

低黏度版才可以重複撕貼，高黏度版貼了一段時間後即無法完好無缺地撕起。也就是說，高黏度版雖然可以撕起來，但撕起來的過程中膜面很難不被破壞，因此不建議撕。

安全帽鏡片施作前，要確認是否已經有膜層在鏡片(無論是原廠或後加工鍍膜)。因為CA160「機車款」背膠黏性強，有可能在將來撕起舊的CA160時，將鏡片本身膜層也撕起來，故表面有功能的安全帽鏡片不建議施作。

If CA160 is already applied over a coated visor, gently lift a tiny corner when removing. If adhesive resistance feels strong, spray 95% alcohol along the edge while slowly peeling with a scraper (alcohol softens adhesive). If still concerned, you can send your visor back to us for free removal assistance.

Assuming the visor was cleaned properly prior to installation, use a hair dryer to gently heat the lifted edge while pressing it smooth with a scraper. Repeat a few times to flatten. If issues persist, make a small notch with scissors from the outer edge inward to relieve film tension, helping it lie completely flat.

請注意，根據我們的田野調查，市售防雨膜、防水膜的核心技術皆為「親水式」。而親水式的膜，需要讓水滴在表面形成水膜後視線才會清晰，因此毛毛細雨時基本上無效。另外水膜會造成光線扭曲，造成畫面成像變形，影響辨識度。最後，親水膜因為水都貼上來，因此容易形成水垢和油膜，不定時清潔容易失效。

Hydrophobic CA160 experiences none of these drawbacks. Why do others produce hydrophilic rather than hydrophobic films? Because hydrophilic films are simple and cheap to manufacture. Chemical hydrophobic coatings offer limited longevity, while physical hydrophobic structures require precise nanoneedle engineering with high technical barriers and cost. CA160 is the world's first commercial physical superhydrophobic transparent film brought down to affordable consumer pricing.

CA160是靠「奈米微針結構」來達成物理性疏水，並非化學性疏水，因此只要在結構沒有損壞的前提下，等於是永久有效。也因此CA160嚴格來說沒有保存期限，靜置二、三十年也不會失效。但另一方面，一旦開始使用了，經過風吹日曬雨淋，奈米結構難免會累積肉眼難見之損傷，因此根據我們的實驗結果與消費者追蹤，假設每天通勤使用，一片CA160大約可維持8~16個月有效，並非可永久連續使用喔！

除了長期使用累積的損傷，若不小心讓CA160沾附到油性物質，該處也會一時失效。因此，當您發現您的CA160突然失效了，首先回想一下使用時間是否已達正常壽命？若無，檢查是否有肉眼可見的磨傷、擦傷？若無，則很可能是沾到油汙了，此時可以使用酒精(75%即可，95%更好)沖洗，再用衛生紙輕輕吸乾水份，就能讓CA160恢復原效唷！(詳細清潔方式請見下題)

CA160有自潔功能，就像荷葉一樣出淤泥而不染，其實很難沾附髒污。但若accidentally touch oily substancesor become covered with a thin layer of water scaleover prolonged use, hydrophobicity will temporarily drop. Follow these recommended cleaning methods for different cases:

1. If performance drops during installation or initial days due to touching skin/oils:

• 用酒精(75%即可，95%更好)噴一噴，再用衛生紙輕輕擦拭乾淨就會回復。若無酒精亦可使用稀釋洗碗精代替，再用清水沖洗乾淨即可。

• Microscopic dust or water scale crystals may have accumulated.DO NOT rub or wipe with dry tissue paper!Wiping fine particles back and forth acts like an abrasive, permanently damaging the microscopic nanoneedle structure.
• 建議使用酒精(75%即可，95%更好) to liberally spray the film surface, using the 'flushing' method to dissolve and carry away fine particlesAllow alcohol to sit for 1 minute, then spray a second time. After 1 more minute, spray a third time and gently dab away residual moisture with tissue paper (do not rub!). Once completely dry, test hydrophobicity with water spray. Repeat if necessary; 3-4 rinses safely clear contaminants without harming micro-structures.
• Routine maintenance with alcohol flushing keeps scale from hardening over time.If unmovable water spots remain outside core vision areas without affecting surrounding hydrophobicity, they can be safely left alone.

CA160的耐刮程度幾乎是市面上最好，用塑膠刮刀、指甲等用力刮都不會有任何影響，基本上不怕與塑膠物體摩擦或碰撞。目前測試的結果來看，貼在汽機車後照鏡和側邊玻璃的CA160，因不會正面衝撞風沙，過了好幾個月依然無任何損傷。而貼安全帽鏡片的，會正面迎風，經過了三、四個月，只有少數出現極細微的刮痕或點狀撞擊痕，但程度皆不影響其功能，故可安心使用。

沒有喔！原因很簡單，太貴了…此材料技術先進，造價昂貴，放在前檔不但成本高昂，常迎撞高速風砂更易造成磨損失效。所以除非是短期的特殊需求，否則汽車前擋建議還是用雨刷就好了~😆

基本上不會。只有極少數車款的側窗升降時會把窗外水珠都刮乾淨(類似被雨刷刮過)，代表車窗升降時車窗外側會被窗框擋片以一定的力道摩擦到，只有這樣的車型才「不適合」貼側邊玻璃用的CA160喔！(後照鏡則不受影響)

您可以先用指甲摳看看CA160的邊緣，一般都能撕起，不太會有殘膠。如果有部分殘膠，可用95%酒精或3M塑膠清潔劑來加速殘膠的移除。但若CA160的使用時間特別長，而且常受到長時間日曬，膜會變得比較脆、比較難整片撕起。此時可用95%酒精或3M塑膠清潔劑「一邊噴灑膜的邊緣，一邊用產品附的刮刀將膜一段段刮除」。若操作上有問題，A: Gently peel up an edge with your fingernail; it usually comes off cleanly. Any minor residue can be removed with 95% alcohol or 3M plastic cleaner..

CA160不行防起霧，甚至還蠻容易起霧的。因為一般防起霧的噴劑或貼片是「親水性」，疏水的CA160並不能防起霧。如果很在意安全帽「鏡片內側」起霧的問題，可以使用我們隨貨附贈的【蔡司防霧拭鏡紙】，或是購買我們另一款產品【AF120 Helmet Anti-Fog Insert】, allowing water repellency on the outside and anti-fog on the inside for clear vision inside and out!

Under high humidity or temperature differences, 75% alcohol spray instantly clears temporary fog on CA160.CA160 is more prone to fogging than bare glass, and fog dissipates more slowly!Because CA160 is made of resin, its thermal conductivity is lower than glass, making temperature balancing slower. When fogging occurs and severely impacts vision,the fastest and most effective way to eliminate fog is to 'spray 75% alcohol'. Alcohol quickly penetrates the micro-surface structure of CA160, dissolving fog droplets into a uniform water layer to rapidly restore sight. Once alcohol and moisture evaporate, temperature is usually balanced and fogging stops. If fogging recurs, simply spray alcohol again.

不行唷！CA160被強制長期泡在水中，奈米絨毛結構會開始充水，反而會變得有點霧霧的不透明。
